Earth Day!

This week we've been looking at the Earth and it's inhabitants. Yesterday we watched DisneyNature documentary called Wings of Life. Was all about flowers, pollinators, and how they interact with each other and help the world and people. Monkey got really into it! Monday's lunch featured some flowers just to tie together with the video.

IN THIS LUNCH:

Leftover Fried Rice
Leftover General Tso Chicken
Grapes
Cheese Flowers
Milk

Today is April 22, 2014 and it is Earth Day! It took some real brainstorming to figure out what to make. Here's what I came up with.

IN THIS LUNCH:

Bagel with Cream Cheese
Broccoli (with one annie's bunny cracker)
Blueberries
Chocolate pudding w/ crushed cookies and worms

I hope that you all enjoy the lunches that have been themed to go with our learning about the Earth so far. Monkey is really enjoying the curriculum and has been delighted opening each lunch. They have been easy to put together too. The hardest part was keeping the blue and green cream cheese from mixing together.

This Earth Day lunch is part of the Earth Day link up with Bento Bloggers and Friends. Click the link to check it out!

Happy Packing!
